We are launching of a new online video platform, Insure TV, and we are seeking an enthusiastic Head UK Business Development to refine and lead our sales proposition; Insure TV supports Insurance companies and MGAs with video and rich content, to extend their reach to insurance professionals.

About the role

You will be responsible for promoting and selling Insure TV’s video production and distribution services to the UK Insurance community.

The ideal candidate has experience working as a lead generator, who is experienced in researching market trends, targeting relationships and using proven methods to both develop and execute our business strategy.

Key tasks include:

  • Working with the CEO to establish an ambitious business plan
  • Meeting agreed business and sales objectives
  • Executing Insure TVs lead generation strategy
  • Coordinating client pitches and proposals
  • Attending and conducting client meetings, events, and presentations
  • Ensuring quality of service to clients
  • Researching, contacting and developing prospects into clients through telephone contact, online presentations and face to face meetings
  • Analyzing and distributing monthly client reports, to identify trends and opportunities

Skills & Experience

It is essential that the successful candidate is self-starter with 3+ experience of selling to insurance industry marketing teams or insurance industry strategists. Key attributes should include:

  • Hungry, entrepreneurial and driven – a self-starter
  • The ability to welcome, receive and action on feedback for continuous improvement
  • A successful sales and account management track record working in, or with, the insurance industry – dealing with clients at Exec level – selling ideas and negotiating project fees
  • An inquisitive mind with an interest in digital and social media
  • Fluency in oral and written communication in English
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Highly collaborative and curious with a strong ability to learn and change often and quickly
  • Strong operational and analytical abilities, with a solid understanding of business value-based selling
  • CRM experience, Salesforce.com
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
